What is high Blood Pressure?

When your blood pressure is more than normal.More than one reading may be required to confirm the diagnose of hypertension..
If you are having associated diseases such as diabetes  or kidney disease blood pressure more than 130/80 will be considered as high blood pressure OR 140/90 if you don't have any associated disease.

Why High Blood Pressure Can Be Dangerous?

High Blood Pressure is a dangerous disease, because it is a silent killer,It does not leave any warning sign and symptoms most of the time. It may lead to diseases such as Stroke, Ischemic Heart Disease,Heart failure,Kidney Diseases etc.

How Blood Pressure Can be Prevented?

Following Measures can be taken to prevent High Blood Pressure.

1.Regular Exercise

Regular Exercise can be very helpful to keep your blood pressure low.Those who are more active are less prone to get this disease even ironing your own cloths can make a difference.So give up sedentary life and be active at all time.

2-Keep your weight Low

Keeping your weight within normal healthy index (calculate your weight on BMI Index application  at bottom of this page) can be useful to prevent this disease.People who are obese and overweight are more prone to have high blood pressure

3-Stop Smoking

4-Reduce stress

Those who love more salt in their food should reconsider it because it can lead to high blood pressure.Get used to foods with low salt it will help you live longer.
